June is National Indigenous History Month—a time to honour the history, heritage and strength of Indigenous peoples in Canada and acknowledge the contributions they have
made and continue to make in shaping our country.

Throughout the month and beyond, The Salvation Army in Canada continues its commitment to reconciliation by fostering understanding, building respectful relationships and learning from Indigenous voices.

Hi There! Are you or someone you know looking to make a real impact in your community?

The Salvation Army is looking to partner with local businesses ready to offer second chances to individuals transitioning back into the community after incarceration.

Many of the people we support are motivated, job-ready, and bring valuable hands-on experience especially in trades, labour, and hospitality. By opening your doors to second chance employment or volunteer opportunities, you’re not just filling a role, but you’re helping rebuild lives and strengthen our community.

We will provide ongoing support, pre-screened candidates, and regular check-ins to ensure success for both you and the individual.

If your business is interested in making a difference, please reach out to our CRF Manager Sarah Shank and be a part of someone’s fresh start.
