It's been a busy few months here at St. Albert Parish. Here's a few photos to recap:

Page 2 - Easter Vigil - 20 new members were welcomed to the Catholic Church (10 baptisms - 10 Professions of Faith) and 2 individuals completed their sacraments of initiation.
Page 3 - Each school tries to make it to the church at least once a year during Easter.
Page 4 - On April 29 Archbishop Hero joined us for Confirmation. 61 individuals were sealed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Page 5 - On May 3 we celebrated our Annual Blue Sunday Mass, honoring our first responders.
Page 6 - May 21 as part of the 200th anniversary of the Oblates Star of the North and MAMI held a gala fundraiser dinner. Many members of the parish were able to attend this wonderful evening.

On Sunday, May 3, 2026, St. Albert Parish celebrated its annual Blue Sunday Mass, honouring active and retired First Responders for their service, courage, and sacrifice. 💙

36 individuals representing Fire Fighters, RCMP, EMS personnel, healthcare workers, Corrections Officers, Paramedics, and members of the Canadian Armed Forces were recognized during the celebration. The community also remembered those who gave their lives in the line of duty. 🙏

The parish also raised and donated $800 to Valour Place in support of First Responders, Veterans, and their families.

Archbishop Stephen Hero continues to meet the people of our Archdiocese and visit our parishes with pastoral care and a shared desire to grow the Church in faith and witness.

His presence reminds us that the Church is not only a place we attend, but a family we live—where the Holy Spirit strengthens us and calls us to active participation.

We are committed to the formation of confident witnesses to the Gospel. Confirmation is a Sacrament of growth that perfects Baptismal grace and invites us to live as disciples of Christ with renewed courage in daily life.

On April 29, Archbishop Hero joined us for the Confirmation Mass at St. Albert Parish. Seventy-one individuals — 65 youth and 6 adults — were confirmed, taking a meaningful step to deepen their faith and serve the Church.

Lord, guide our Archdiocese through this new chapter — so that we may welcome your grace, strengthen one another in hope, and build a Church where faith is lived, shared, and visible.

Join the Knights of Columbus and St. Albert Parish for our annual Blue Sunday Mass. First responders, active and retired, are invited to attend this special Mass; you're invited to come in uniform. Following Mass, head downstairs for a delicious pancake breakfast. Proceeds from the breakfast support Valour Place.
