What an incredible Catholic high school retreat!

The days were filled with prayer, laughter, deep conversations, and moments where the Holy Spirit was truly felt moving among our youth. It was amazing to watch young people step forward with courage, discovering their leadership gifts, supporting one another, and building friendships that will last far beyond these few days.

Hearts were opened, faith was strengthened, and many encountered Jesus in a powerful and personal way. These are the moments that remind us how alive and beautiful our faith community is.

Please keep all of these youth in your prayers as they return home. May they continue to feel the love and support of their faith community, grow in the gifts they discovered, and carry the light of Jesus into their schools, families, and friendships.

Lord, continue to guide them, strengthen them, and remind them that they are never alone. Next stop Steubenville Atlantic!

The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Sunday. During the reception, parents were invited to hear the children’s own testimonies—beautiful reflections on their experience and the graces they discovered throughout their preparation for this sacrament.

Each summer, hundreds of high school students, parents, parish leaders, and volunteers from across Eastern Canada gather for a powerful weekend of encounter, renewal, and mission at Steubenville Atlantic.

These young people are in a formative time of life. They are discerning their identity, their calling, and their relationship with Christ. Many are already active in their parishes, schools, and communities, and they are hungry to go deeper.

Sponsoring Steubenville Atlantic is an opportunity to invest directly in our local Church and in the next generation of disciples. Sponsors connect with Catholic families, educators, clergy, and ministry leaders through meaningful touchpoints like conference signage, digital media, and co-branded materials leading up to and during our three-day conference. Sponsorship also helps make this life-changing conference more accessible and affordable for youth across our region!

Together, we can help young people encounter Christ and be sent out to transform the world.

Theo, a free Catholic prayer and meditation app for children and their parents, plans to host the largest Advent celebration for children to help them discover the true meaning of the season.

From Nov. 30 to Dec. 24, more than 1 million children are expected to take part in a 25-day journey filled with stories, songs, activities, and reflections.

The Advent campaign will be led by Theodore, a cheerful animated donkey who is described as a direct descendant of the donkey that carried the Blessed Virgin Mary to Bethlehem. It will also feature several special guests including Catholic actor David Henrie and Father Ambrose Criste, among others.
