In today’s digital world, we are more connected than ever before. Social media, messaging platforms, and online communities allow us to stay in touch with people across the globe instantly. Yet despite this constant connectivity, many individuals continue to struggle with loneliness, superficial relationships, and a desire for deeper, more meaningful connections.

As Catholic singles, we are called to build relationships rooted not only in shared interests but also in faith, love, and authentic human encounter. This Pastoral Assembly invites us to reflect on the opportunities and challenges that the digital age presents as we seek genuine friendship, community, and Christ-centered relationships.

Through prayer, reflection, the insights of Bishop Robert Barron, and the personal experiences shared by our brothers and sisters, may we discover how to navigate the digital landscape with wisdom and intentionality. May this evening inspire us to foster authentic connections that draw us closer to one another and, ultimately, closer to God.

“Connected Yet Alone? Building Authentic Relationships in the Digital Age” challenges us to examine how we use technology, how we relate to others, and how Christ calls us to live and love in an increasingly digital world. May we open our hearts to His guidance and grace throughout this assembly.
