What a fun and exciting afternoon we had at our monthly Kosher Chef program!

The kids had a blast making their very own cheesecakes while learning all about the holiday of Shavuot!
From mixing and decorating to lots of smiles and laughter, it was a sweet and memorable experience for everyone involved.

This past Monday, our community came together for a beautiful Lag BaOmer celebration, and what an evening it was!

The weather was absolutely perfect as we lit the traditional bonfire, surrounded by the warmth of friends and family.

The night featured a delicious BBQ dinner with a huge thank you to Amram Larviv and Oron Eliyahu for their hard work alongside a captivating juggling performance, face painting, and balloon twisting by Matt Levy.

While the kids enjoyed games, entertainment, and sweet treats, the adults shared in the light and joy of this special occasion.

We are deeply grateful to our gracious hosts, Joseph & Elana Vaupotic, who once again opened their home and hearts to welcome everyone in. This event was made possible through the generous co-sponsorship of The Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver and Delta community connector Lizz Kelly, as well as the incredible support of our dedicated volunteers. Thank you for bringing this night to life and making it such a success!

We had an awesome Rosh Chodesh minyan this morning.
So great to see so many teens stepping up, leading, participating, and really showing up. This is how a community grows.
Strong davening, great energy, and of course a solid breakfast to top it off.
Already looking forward to the next Rosh Chodesh. Come join us.

President’s Message – Yom HaShoah

On Yom HaShoah, we solemnly remember the six million Jews who were murdered, and we honor the courage of those who survived and rebuilt Jewish life from the ashes.
The Holocaust stands as a profound reminder of the consequences of unchecked hatred and the vulnerability of a people without the ability to protect themselves. The establishment of the State of Israel represents a historic and enduring response, the restoration of Jewish sovereignty, dignity, and security in our ancestral homeland.
Remembrance carries with it a responsibility.
We are called to confront antisemitism in all its forms, to strengthen Jewish identity within our communities, and to ensure that Jewish life is not only preserved, but actively lived and celebrated.
May we honor their memory through our commitment to a vibrant, secure, and enduring Jewish future in Israel and throughout the world.
Never Again is not only a promise, but an obligation.
