Dear Saints:
With profound sadness we inform you that Sister Anna Kandathil has passed away a few minutes earlier today. In her passing away we have lost a very dear friend of the Center for Global Missions. In many occasions over the years, she has visited and ministered at our mission fields. She has been an ardent supporter of our mission initiatives in India, especially Bihar, and have contributed much spiritually and materially. For over four decades she has ministered to Malayalee and other communities in India and abroad. She was a bold voice for the Gospel. Through her ministry, multitude have been delivered, filled with the Holy Spirit, and added to the Kingdom of God. She can be considered one among the few powerful women ministers of the Gospel from Kerala. May her legacy continue through many women ministers God is raising among the Malayalees in India and abroad.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her husband, son, and their other family members. Please remember her grieving family in your prayers.

With profound sadness we inform that Pastor C J Abraham passed away into the presence of the Lord. India Mission is deeply indebted to Pastor Abraham for his great service as the first President of India Mission. At the beginning of India Mission ministry, it was focussed on the unreached areas of Northern Kerala. While serving as the District Pastor of IPC Calicut District, Pastor Abraham with much wisdom and godliness expanded the ministry in Malabar. The historic Pastors Conferences held in various towns of Malabar are still in the memory of saints who are working in Malabar area. Through his devoted leadership about 65 new churches were planted through India Mission in Malabar area between 1991 and 1998. Even after starting the ministry of India Mission in Bihar, Pastor Abraham continued to serve as President until his health deteriorated later.

In the passing away of Pastor Abraham, we lost a true godly christian leader who served the Lord and the people with wisdom, grace, and profound devotion.

On behalf of the India Mission we extend our heartfelt condolences to his loving wife and devoted daughters and their families. May the Lord comfort them and strengthen them at this time of great loss and grief.

Center for Global Missions recently launched a Bible school in Uganda. A team was invited there last March and a new initiative focused on leadership training and church planting has begun.

Students are so eager to learn the Word and to share the gospel. This is an exciting expansion of the ministry of CGM in reaching the nation and fulfilling the great commission.

Please pray for the church in Uganda and this new work & ministry.
