Trust in the Lord — Jeremiah 17:7–8 (KJV)

Devotional Thought:
When we lean on human strength, our souls grow dry. But those who trust in the LORD are like a tree planted by the waters—rooted, steady, and fruitful even in drought. Today, sink your roots deeper into His Word and presence, and let His unfailing river nourish your heart.

Prayer:
Lord, I turn from self-reliance and place my trust in You. Plant me by the waters of Your Word. Keep me steadfast in every season, and make my life fruitful for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Truth Ignored Is Still Truth

Read: Acts 7:37–39
Key Verse: “To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them.” (v. 39)

Reflection:
Israel heard the truth from Moses and the prophets—but they continually turned away. God's Word calls for obedience, not just admiration.

Takeaway:
Listening to truth without living it is a form of rebellion.
