25,648 lives extinguished.
Millions of Jews around the world remember those who perished, so that we could continue to live—with pain in our hearts, with eternal memory, and with gratitude.

Today, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember that it all once began the same way – with hatred and the quiet normalization of antisemitism.
But today we have something our ancestors did not always have.
We have our home.
We have our country.
We have IDF that stands for us and protects us unconditionally, wherever we are in the world.
