🌍 African-Themed Potluck Dinner at Bethel 🌍

Join us this Sunday after the PM worship service for our May Monthly Potluck Dinner!

This month, our African brothers and sisters will be sharing dishes from their cultures with our church family. We are thankful for this opportunity to celebrate the beautiful diversity that God has given to His church.

The gospel not only reconciles us to God through Jesus Christ, but also unites us to one another as brothers and sisters. In Christ, people from every tribe, language, and nation are gathered into one family and seated together at one table of grace.

As the Lord continues to bring new people into our congregation, we encourage everyone to use this potluck as an opportunity to welcome newcomers, meet someone new, and grow together in Christian fellowship. Sometimes a simple conversation over a meal can become a meaningful encouragement and blessing.

Whether you are a long-time member, a visitor, or joining us for the first time, you are warmly invited.

🌿 Sunday Worship – Bethel Canadian Reformed Church 🌿

Join us this Sunday as we gather to worship our faithful God and hear His life-giving Word.

Morning Service – 9:30 AM
“By Faith, Noah Constructed the Ark”
Scripture: Hebrews 11:7

In a world that ignored God’s warnings and lived only for what could be seen, Noah trusted God’s Word concerning things not yet seen. We will reflect on what it means to live by faith, walk in reverent fear, and hold fast to Jesus Christ, our true Ark and only refuge from the coming judgment.

Afternoon Service – 3:30 PM
“In the Blood and Spirit of Christ, We Are Washed”
Heidelberg Catechism: Lord’s Day 26

As we reflect on the meaning of baptism, we will hear God's comforting promise that through the blood and Spirit of Christ, all our sins are washed away. Our cleansing is certain, complete, and leads us into a life of holiness and gratitude before God.

This Sunday will also be a special day of thanksgiving as we rejoice in the public profession of faith and holy baptism in the morning service.

All are warmly welcome. Whether you are exploring Christianity, looking for a church home, or seeking hope and peace, we would love to have you join us.

Come and hear the good news of the gospel: by faith we are united to Christ, our true refuge, and through His blood and Spirit we are washed, renewed, and welcomed into the family of God.

We look forward to worshiping together this Sunday!

🌿 Pentecost Sunday Worship – Bethel Canadian Reformed Church 🌿

Join us this Pentecost Sunday as we gather to worship our ascended Lord Jesus Christ and give thanks for the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Morning Service – 9:30 AM
“Do Not Grieve the Spirit of God”
Scripture: Ephesians 4:30

We will reflect on the wonderful reality that the Holy Spirit dwells within God’s people. Because we belong to Christ and are sealed for the day of redemption, we are called to live lives of holiness, love, truth, and hope in the presence of the Spirit who lives in us.

Afternoon Service – 3:30 PM
“The Holy Spirit, through the Means of Grace, Is the Author of Faith”
Heidelberg Catechism: Lord’s Day 25

We will reflect on how the Holy Spirit creates and strengthens faith through the preaching of the gospel and the sacraments. On Pentecost Sunday, we remember with gratitude that God has poured out His Spirit to dwell with His people and lead them to Christ.

All are warmly welcome.
Whether you are visiting, exploring the Christian faith, or searching for hope and peace, we would love to have you join us.

Come and hear the good news of the gospel: God does not leave His people alone, but dwells with them by His Spirit and leads them toward the day of redemption.

We look forward to worshiping together this Sunday.

Morning Service – 9:30 AM
“Paul Proclaims that Christ Is the Peace of the People of God”
Ephesians 2:11–22

In Christ, those who were once far away are brought near to God and to one another. Through His cross, Jesus tears down the walls of hostility and gathers people from every nation into one family and one household of God.

Afternoon Service – 3:30 PM
“Two Impossibilities in the Christian Life”
Lord’s Day 24

We will reflect on the heart of the gospel: that our good works can never earn righteousness before God, and yet true faith in Christ can never remain fruitless. Salvation is entirely by grace, but grace also transforms our lives.

All are warmly welcome.
Whether you are visiting, new to the faith, or searching, we would love to have you join us.

Come and hear the good news of the gospel: in Christ, strangers are welcomed, sinners are justified, and the people of God are given lasting peace and hope.

Join us tomorrow evening as we gather with the GTA Reformed Churches to worship our risen and ascended King Jesus Christ together.

Forty days after His resurrection, our Lord Jesus Christ ascended into heaven and was seated at the right hand of the Father, where He reigns over all things for His church.

Ascension Day reminds us that our Savior is not absent, but reigning, interceding for His people, and preparing a place for us.

We warmly invite you to join us for this special worship service and fellowship with brothers and sisters from across the GTA.

Ascension Day Joint Worship Service
May 14 @ 7:30 PM
Covenant United Reformed Church

Rev. John Bouwers will bring the Word, and Rev. K. Park will lead the service.

Morning Service – 9:30 AM
“A Woman Who Fears the Lord Is to Be Praised”
Scripture: Proverbs 31:30

We will reflect on the beauty and dignity of a godly woman who fears the Lord. In a world that often values outward appearance and worldly success, God’s Word reminds us that true beauty is found in faith, wisdom, love, and a life devoted to the Lord.

Afternoon Service – 3:30 PM
“Our Most Gracious God Justifies the Ungodly in Christ”
Heidelberg Catechism: Lord’s Day 23

We will reflect on the heart of the gospel: that sinners are declared righteous before God not by their own works, but solely by grace, solely through Christ, and solely through faith.

All are warmly welcome.
Whether you are visiting, new to the faith, or searching, we would love to have you join us.

Come and hear the good news of the gospel: in Christ, the weary find rest, the guilty receive forgiveness, and the people of God are given lasting hope and peace.

All are warmly welcome.

Bethel Monthly Potluck Dinner

This Sunday (April 26), after our PM worship (3:30 PM), we will gather for our monthly potluck dinner.

Having been gathered by Christ through His Word, we continue in the communion of saints, sharing not only spiritual gifts, but also our lives, our time, and our table together.

🍽 Tortilla-Themed Potluck
This month, we will have a tortilla-themed potluck.

Please feel free to bring a dish to share—especially something that can be enjoyed together (toppings, fillings, or any dish are all welcome!).

This is more than just a meal.
It is a time to welcome one another in the love of Christ, grow in unity as His people, and share life together as those who have been forgiven and brought into one body.

🤍 All are warmly welcome.
Come, worship with us—and then stay, eat, and share in the life of Christ’s church together.

We look forward to seeing you this Sunday!
