On the busy road of life, it’s easy to believe our value comes from how productive we are or how much we accomplish.

But Jesus shows us a different rhythm.

In Mark 6, even in the middle of ministry and busyness, Jesus stayed deeply connected to the Father. His life wasn’t driven by productivity, but by identity in God.

Maybe the question for us today isn’t how busy we are
but what our busyness is rooted in.

Are we driven by pressure…
or anchored in our identity in Christ?

But in Scripture, He often becomes quieter.
 
Elijah expected God in power —
instead he found Him in stillness.
 
Maybe God hasn’t stopped speaking.
Maybe life just got louder.
 
Try making space this week.
Not more effort — just more quiet.

Ash Wednesday Churchwide Prayer Meeting

On February 18th, we step into the season of Lent, a 40-day season of prayer, fasting, and repentance leading up to Easter. It is the time to turn our hearts back to God, reflect on our need for His grace, and prepare to celebrate the hope of the resurrection. 
 
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, and we want to invite you to join us in this sacred moment. Whether you receive ashes or reflect, may this be a season of drawing closer to God.
