Yesterday's Shavuot program was a hit! Enjoyed an ice cream bar with different toppings, played games to explore Shavuot messages, and then completed (and competed) in the delicious crepe-making challenge. French restaurants have nothing to hold over these girls:) Thanks all for coming! Chag Shavuot Sameach!

This week at Hebrew School our students learn all about... Shul!

We played an amazing Guess Who Shul (Synagogue) Edition to help us learn all the different items and people we might find in a shul!

We then built our own shul in our Hebrew School classrooms, but no hammers or nails needed here – we used boxes and cool craft supplies to build an Aron, an ark, to hold the holy Torahs and a Bimah, or platform, upon which the Torah is read.
Then we were ready to act out a shul service, with all our favorite tefillah songs. What fun!

We ended our already fantastic day with an awesome Kiddush Crawl, traveling to Russia, India and
Cancun Mexico, getting a tour of the magnificent Shuls in each of these places, and enjoying special Kiddush foods from each one!

शाब्बात शालोम!
Shabbat Shalom a Todos!
мирный суббота!
שבת שלום!

I hope to see you in shul this Shabbat! ✨
