The CWL raised $775.00 for Hospice Renfrew at their recent AMM. At the same event, more than 200 item were collected for the Bernadette McCann House. Thank you to all who contributed.

Pembroke Diocesan AMM at Our Lady of Fatima was a huge success. Seventy-seven members attended from 17 Councils. Faith-Fun-Fulfillment. Old friendships rekindled and new ones sparked. We were filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit as we listened to Ontario Provincial President, Colleen Martin give her address. Our appetites were also satisfied with one of five homemade soups and an array of sandwich/platter choices. We concluded with Holy Mass - the perfect ending to a lovely day. See you at SFX next year.

✨ Suddenly, there is a violent wind and tongues of fire surrounding me. I feel the power of the Holy Spirit move through me, and—miraculously—everyone standing with me understands the words spoken, each in their own language.
In that moment, we are no longer strangers. We are a community, a church community, united by the Spirit who breathes life into our mission.

Dear God, thank you for my church community and for the sisterhood I share in The Catholic Women’s League of Canada. Both enrich my life. Help me feel the power of the Holy Spirit more deeply and recognize when You are at work in my life. Amen.
