FACT: Jesus was crucified on Friday... Buried on Friday...His body lay in a Tomb all Saturday...His Spirit went about doing His Father's business (not a thread to parse what he did or didn't do) Sunday morning "UP FROM THE GRAVE HE AROSE"...

DON'T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT - 1 Corinthians 15:1 Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, 2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 6 Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. 7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. 8 Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.

On April 3rd we celebrate what traditionally is know as GOOD FRIDAY. All over the world many will bring a message about Jesus being crucified for the sin of mankind and as such will rise again. The traditional Seven Last Cries are:
"Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34)
"Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:43)
"Woman, behold your son... Behold your mother." (John 19:26–27)
"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46/Mark 15:34) —
"I thirst." (John 19:28)
"It is finished!" (John 19:30)
"Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." (Luke 23:46)
All of this leads one to ask the question of Jesus “Who are You” which was asked of him in John 8:25 to which – in short he declared Himself to be the Son of Man who would be “lifted up” (crucified) and that whoever believed in Him would be with Him in Paradise. So I explored afresh the question “who are you” and as I walked through the book of John I discovered many truths… John 11:25 I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes on me, though he die, yet shall he live…What a claim! Then he demonstrates it by raising Lazurus from the dead – say what – yeppppppers Lazurus dead for four days and then BOOOM alive. Friends here is the kicker in John 12:10 “But the chief priests took counsel that they might put Lazarus also to death; because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.- come on could this be true a man is raised from the dead and you try to kill Him. Sounds much like the modern day Easter story. Jesus is crucified on Friday raised from the dead on Sunday and humanity does it best to kill the story – we flood it with a bunny, pretty eggs, lilies and the like all in an effort to stop people from believing in Jesus. Friends believing in Jesus is what makes Friday Good – I’m forgiven and trust the one who said It is finished for my salvation. What about you?
