The church may be closed, but the work is still continuing. 💕

Our city is currently grappling with a significant crisis of food insecurity and houselessness. We are pleased to announce our partnership with local grassroots organizations to transform the former Trinity Lutheran Church into a vital community hub.

Our goal is to sustain essential meal programs and confront the pressing issues of food insecurity and houselessness, particularly during the harsh winters in Saskatchewan.

We invite your support to ensure every resident in Regina has access to critical resources, especially as systemic gaps and barriers continue to emerge. Together, we can make a difference in our community. Join us in this mission: If not here, then WHERE? ❤️

Toque Donation Request!

It’s that time of year again – The weather is getting chilly, and these nights, are getting colder.
The TLC Pantry is collecting donations of new toques for our neighbours. We ask that only dark colors be donated (black, dark blue, gray). We have already given away the last of last years toques!

Monetary donations can be made by cash, cheque (to Trinity Lutheran Church) or an e-transfer to [email protected]
Please indicate “TLC Toques/hats” in the memo. Tax receipts will be issued!

They’ve donated 4 boxes of quilts to give out to our neighbours! It will be a great surprise to the folks who will be starting to line up soon 🥳🥳

A busy week here at the pantry again! - we had tons of donations!

Thank you to the Heritage Community Association and Indigenous Christian Fellowship for their food donations.

Thank you to our volunteers who turned some of those goods into 75 sandwiches to feed our community.

And thank you to Just Socks, for their donation of 660 pairs of socks!!

🚨🍫 Granola bars call out!

August has been crazy for us over here at the pantry!

We pack and serve 120 bagged lunches every Monday thru Friday and often go over that.

❔ What do we do when we run out, you ask?

✳️ Great question! Often we have donations of sandwiches or ramen from our lovely volunteers that have helped fill the gap of the increase in numbers.
Those are paired with granola bars! We strive to make sure that people who come to use never leave without something.
Sometimes, however, we can only give folks a granola bar. It's all we have!

This month, we have seen numbers in the 200s, and we hit our all-time record of 327 people needing food. YOU HEARD THAT CORRECT. 327!

Needless to say, this has taken quite a hit on our supplies.

We are asking for help from our community, to help us feed our community!

Please help us fill the food insecurity gap in the Heritage community here, in Regina!
