We rejoice in the Lord as our new President of Lutheran Church-Canada, Rev. David Haberstock, our new Vice President, Rev. Ted Giese, our new Regional Pastor for the Central Region, Rev. Arron Gust, our new Regional Pastor for the West Region, Rev. Michael Schutz, and our Regional Pastor for the East Region, Rev. Marvin Bublitz, are installed today! To God be all the glory! 🙏😇

Where was Pastor Giese this Sunday? He was in Stony Plain Alberta visiting family (Michelle’s mom and dad Joyce & David Altheim) and attending Saint Matthew Lutheran Church. Saw lots of old friends and familiar faces! Didn’t get to say hi to everyone but it was a wonderful time to be together around God’s Word and to receive Holy Communion. Pr. Rod Buck had a very good sermon, as always.

Make a difference. Do you have clothing to donate? Mount Olive is currently accepting clothing for it's upcoming Clothing Give Away (Sat Sept 19th 10am to 12non). No donation is too small, no donation is too big. You're donations help your neighbours and community. This is a give away, there is no charge to come and take home the clothing, coats and shoes needed. All ages of clothing accepted we especially appreciate infant, children's and teen clothing. They need to be clean and in good repair, ready for the community to use that day. For more information call 306-543-9744
