🎉 50/50 Raffle Winner Cheque Presentation 🎉

We are thrilled to officially present the cheque to our Taste the World 50/50 Raffle winner, Edward Balicki of Regina, who took home an incredible $35,752.50 prize!

Edward purchased his winning ticket at the Polish Pavilion and was the lucky holder of Ticket -287465.

Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and supported this year’s 50/50. Your participation helped make this a tremendous success and contributed to the continued celebration of the many cultures that make our community so vibrant.

Congratulations once again, Edward, and thank you to all of our volunteers, supporters, and pavilion teams who helped make this year’s 50/50 raffle such a memorable success!

🎉 Congratulations to the Winner of the Taste the World 50/50 Raffle! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that this year’s lucky winner is Edward Balicki of Regina, who will be taking home an incredible $35,752.50!

Edward purchased the winning ticket at the Polish Pavilion and was absolutely shocked when he received the call — it took a little convincing before he believed the exciting news! Needless to say, he is thrilled.

Due to the recent high winds at Regina Memorial Gardens, some flower arrangements placed at gravesites may have been moved throughout the cemetery. A kind visitor did their best to return flowers to their proper places and clean up the area, but some arrangements may not have been placed back correctly.

If you recently left flowers or memorial items, you may wish to visit and check on them.

The program of the Consul General has now been finalized. Please note the visit to Regina will be on May 15 and 16.

Appointments will be available during the times indicated as follows:
May 15 - 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
May 16 - 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
May 16 - 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Please contact the Consulate General of Greece directly in order to book an appointment at [email protected]

Note that the Consul General will not undertake registrations of birth or marriage during these visits.

Registrations of death may be processed only in cases where all the necessary documentation is complete and in order.

We would like to inform you that the Consul General of Greece - Vancouver will be visiting Alberta and Saskatchewan from May 14 to May 18.

A detailed schedule will be shared at a later date.

In the meantime, their offices are asking that any citizens who wish to meet with the Consul General, contact their office directly to arrange an appointment.

Also note that the Consul General will not handle registrations during this visit, but will only process Power of Attorney matters.

Life Giving Font Greek Orthodox Church PANIGIRI CELEBRATION

Beloved in Christ,

With the grace of God and by the intercessions of the Most-Holy Theotokos, I joyfully extend a warm welcome to you all for the long-awaited Panigiri Celebration of the Lifegiving Font Greek Orthodox Church in Swift Current, SK.

The Program of Services is as follows:

Great Vespers for Thomas Sunday & The Lifegiving Font 7 pm

Feast of the Lifegiving Font
Matins and Divine Liturgy 10 am

Services will be celebrated by our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Spiridon Vandoros.
