“Some journeys to Christ are instant. Others are slow, steady, and deeply intentional.”

On June 13th, we celebrated the Holy Baptism and Reception of Jaiden and Sadie, two souls who didn’t just want to become Orthodox; they wanted to live Orthodoxy.

Before the day of their baptism arrived, they paused some life decisions and spent over a year doing what many admire from afar but few are patient enough to embrace.

• sitting through catechumen classes,
• learning to observe the liturgical calendar,
• entering into the rhythm of fasting,
• showing up for the services,
• and slowly letting the life of the Church shape their hearts.

And after all of that, after seeing the discipline, the beauty, the sacrifice, and the joy, they still offered a yes that was not rushed, not emotional, not romanticized, but a tested, patient, and formed yes.

A yes that grew through Great Lent.
A yes that survived the fasts.
A yes that deepened through every Vespers, every Liturgy, every question, and every struggle.

Then came the moment that revealed the depth of that yes. They turned to the West and declared:

“I reject Satan, all his works, all his servants and all his pride.”

A real and conscious break with the old life.

Then turning to the East, toward Christ, they proclaimed the fullness of their desire with the words:

“I unite myself to Christ.”

One yes expressed in two directions. (1)Turning away from darkness and (2) turning fully toward the Light.

This day, heaven rejoiced, and so did we.

Welcome home, Jaiden and Sadie.
May God grant you many blessed years as you walk this beautiful, ancient path with Christ.

There is something deeply inspiring about witnessing a young adult choose Christ and enter the Orthodox Church through Holy Baptism.

In a time when many assume faith is fading, we are seeing more young adults seeking something deeper than trends, opinions, and temporary answers. They are searching for truth, meaning, and a faith rooted in the teachings of Christ and preserved through the centuries. Many are discovering Orthodoxy through a growing hunger for theology, history, and the authentic Christian life.

This baptism was a beautiful reminder that the Gospel continues to transform hearts and draw people to God. The ancient faith is speaking to a new generation that desires depth, reverence, and a closer relationship with Christ.

Congratulations to our newly illumined sister in Christ. May the Lord strengthen you on your journey, grant you many years, and guide you in His love and truth.

"As many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ." — Galatians 3:27

One of the blessings from the last Episcopate Congress was Fr. Cristian serving an Akathist together with Fr. Frisby — one of our priests faithfully serving a parish in Arizona.

Before entering Orthodoxy, Fr. Frisby was a Baptist preacher, and his journey to the Orthodox faith is both inspiring and powerful. We are grateful for his ministry, his witness, and his heart for Christ and His Church.

May this video be an encouragement to many who are seeking the fullness of the Faith.

On the Feast of St. Lazarus, our community was blessed to witness the holy mystery of Baptism, as a new member, Treena Nelson, was received into the life of grace. Just as our Lord called Lazarus from death into life, so too was this child of God brought from darkness into the light of Christ, clothed in the garment of salvation and sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit.

It was a beautiful reminder that Baptism is not simply a beginning, but a true passage into resurrection life—where we are united to Christ, who is “the Resurrection and the Life.”

Celebrating this sacrament on St. Lazarus Day made the moment even more profound, as we reflected on Christ’s power over death and His boundless mercy toward all who come to Him in faith.

May God continue to bless this newly illumined servant, and may their life in Christ grow ever brighter, walking faithfully in the way of the Gospel.

Christ is risen!

This whole Bright Week is one continuous celebration of the Resurrection. The Church invites us not just to remember, but to live in the joy of Christ’s victory every single day.

As St. John Chrysostom proclaims in his Paschal homily: “Christ is risen, and life reigns."

And St. Gregory the Theologian calls us to become “a new creation,” leaving behind the old life and stepping into the light of the Risen Christ.

Throughout this Bright Week, the Holy Fathers teach us:
🌿 Live the Resurrection daily – not just as a belief, but as a transformed life
🌿 Do not return to darkness – as St. Basil the Great reminds us, we are called to walk in the light we have received
🌿 Let joy replace fear – death has been conquered, so we live with hope and boldness
🌿 Share the good news – the Resurrection is not kept, but proclaimed through love and action

Even the open doors of the church this week remind us:
✨ Heaven is opened
✨ Grace is freely given
✨ Christ is among us

📅 Join us this Bright Tuesday for our service as we continue celebrating the joy of the Resurrection together.
9:30 am Divine Liturgy

All are welcome!

May this Bright Week renew your soul, strengthen your faith, and fill your life with unending joy.

💛 Christ is risen! Truly, He is risen!

“Today, a sacred Pascha is revealed to us, a new and holy Pascha, a mystical Pascha. A Pascha worthy of veneration, a Pascha which is Christ, the redeemer.
A blameless Pascha. A Great Pascha. A Pascha of the Faithful. A Pascha which has opened for us the gates of Paradise. A Pascha which sanctifies all the faithful.” - THE APOSTICHA

Happy Pascha!

“Your resurrection, O Christ our Saviour, has enlightened the whole universe, recalling Your creation. Glory to You, O Almighty Lord.” - THE APOSTICHA

From darkness to light.
From silence to “Christ is Risen.”
This is Pascha — light shared, hope awakened, joy overflowing.

We are humbly trying to fullfill the Great Commission of our Lord. "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you."Mt 28:19
This past Saturday nine of our catechumens have become full members of the mystical body of Christ. Yesterday at the Divine Liturgy they all partook in the Body and Blood of Christ for the first time. Glory be to God!
