To our incredible Next Gen Ministries volunteers — thank you.

Your faithfulness, kindness, patience, energy, and love for kids does not go unnoticed. Week after week, you show up ready to serve, encourage, lead, listen, and point the next generation toward Jesus.

Because of you, children feel welcomed, valued, safe, and loved. Thank you for giving your time, your hearts, and your gifts so generously. We truly could not do this ministry without each and every one of you.

We are so grateful for the impact you are making in the lives of our kids and families. Thank you for serving so faithfully!

We are so grateful for our incredible Next Gen volunteers. Your faithfulness, kindness, patience, and generosity don’t go unnoticed. Week after week, you show up, pour into our kids and youth, and help create a space where they can grow in their faith and feel known and loved.

On Wednesday, April 1st plan to come for one last Wednesday night! We will enjoy a meal together beginning at 5:30 (We know your schedules vary, so come when you are able; food will be available from 5:30 to 6:15). The program in the sanctuary will begin at 6:45 celebrating all our children have learned throughout the year. Please RSVP for the meal portion so we have an idea of how much food to prepare. It’s our last regular week. We will have large group, small group, and gym time as usual, but it’s also Toy Factory night, so during gym time, small groups will rotate out to shop at the Toy Factory, set up by the back gym doors. We’ve created a fun week of serving activities for our youth in grades 6-8 over Spring Break. We’d love for you to commit to all 3 days, but if that’s not possible, we’ve made each day separate in the sign up so you can let us know which part you’ll be attending. More details on times will be added as we confirm those.

Tuesday - we’ll be setting up for the KidBlast Day happening on Wednesday, and training for that.
Wednesday - we’ll be working at the KidBlast Day, leading small groups and running all the activities and leading in the chapels.
Thursday - we’ll be going out into the city to serve our neighbours in a variety of ways.

This year we are holding a one day KidsBlast for kids in grades 1-5 as fun way to spend part of their school break.

We will have a pile of fun activities planned including active games in the gym, outdoor adventures, interactive chapels, artistic activities, games, and some straight up fun!

The day runs a full 9-5 on Wednesday, April 8 for kids in grades 1 - 5.

Snacks are included; please send a lunch and a water bottle.  
The cost is $30.

This week we want to learn and share about summer camps! Come wearing your summer camp swag and tell us about the camp you go to and we’ll tell you about ours! Camp is a great place for kids to experience God in their life, have adventures and make new friendships. If you don’t have a camp we’re excited to tell you about one we love! See you at Awana.
