Have you ever felt like you have so many reasons to be happy, yet deep inside, something still feels missing? 🥹

Sometimes, we think joy comes when everything in life finally falls into place. When our prayers are answered, when things go our way, or when we have everything we’ve been hoping for.

But what happens when life gets difficult?

This is something I was reminded of as we continued our G4:12 Youth Bible Study on the Fruit of the Holy Spirit - JOY. 💛

Happiness depends on what’s happening around us, but true joy comes from WHO lives within us.

And that is JESUS. ☝🏻

Personally, I’ve learned that following Jesus doesn’t mean life will always be easy. There will still be struggles, disappointments, and unanswered prayers. But even in those moments, we can have joy because we know WHO holds our lives.

And if you’re reading this today, especially if life feels heavy or something seems missing despite everything you have, I want to remind you that Jesus offers a joy this world cannot give and circumstances cannot take away.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to Him. Come as you are. Get to know Him. Let Him transform your heart. ❤️

Because a life with Christ isn’t a life without struggles, but it is a life filled with hope.

UNASHAMED

Romans 1:16 - I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

The disciples were sent by the Lord to primarily preach about His kingdom. And that calling still remains today. In sharing Jesus, we are giving others the opportunity to know God and experience His peace.

Last Saturday, our G4:12 youth continued our FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT series as we talked about the first fruit which is LOVE. ❤️

We were reminded that love is more than just a feeling. It’s choosing to be patient, kind, forgiving, and caring toward others even when it’s not always easy.

Most importantly, we love because God love us first. 🤍

“Let all that you do be done in love.”
- 1 Corinthians 16:14

Praying that as we grow closer to God, His love will become more visible in the way we speak, serve, forgive, and treat one another. ❤️
