You are invited to join us on Sunday, Sept. 13th, for worship and Children's Church/Sunday School. Worship begins at 10:30 a.m., both onsite and online. Sunday School/Children's Church happens during part of the worship service. Following worship, plan to stick around for coffee and goodies. All are welcome!

The program year at Our Savior's begins this week!

-Tuesday, Sept. 8th: the Quilters meet at 9:00 a.m. All are welcome; no experience or equipment is necessary.

-Wednesday, Sept. 9th: Choir rehearsals start back up at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome.

-Sunday, Sept.13th: Sunday School/Children's Church starts up again. Sunday school meets during part of the 10:30 a.m. worship service. New children are always welcome.

-Monday, Sept. 14th:, both Book Study and Tai Chi meet at 9:30 a.m. All are welcome.

-Saturday, Sept. 19, Our Savior's helps serve breakfast at Indigenous Christian Fellowship (ICF). All are welcome, but please sign up so we know how many people are going.

-Sunday, Sept. 20, Pastor Victoria's first Sunday at Our Savior's! Join us for worship at 10:30 a.m., both onsite and online. All are welcome.

-Sunday, Sept. 27, Grow-A-Row Donation Sunday. After worship, plan to stick around for a special coffee time with food featuring local ingredients.

And looking ahead to October: Mark your calendars that on Sunday, October 18th, Pastor Victoria will be officially installed as our Called Pastor at 3:00 p.m. It will be a wonderful service of celebration. All are welcome!

This past Sunday, our congregation had the opportunity to formally thank Bishop Sid for serving as our Interim Pastor for eight of the last 16 months, as well as take a few moments to celebrate with Bishop Sid that this summer was the 45th anniversary of his ordination to the ministry of Word and Sacrament!

For about 29 of those years, Our Savior's has been blessed to be directly on the receiving end of Pastor Sid's many talents and gifts, as Bishop Sid was our Called Pastor for 18 years, our Synodical Bishop for 10 years, and our Interim Pastor for almost 1 year.

Congratulations, Bishop Sid, and thank you again for the many ways you have served our congregtion and the wider Church. We are glad that we could celebrate this milestone with you!

And the thank yous continue!

Please join us this Sunday, September 6th, at 10:30 a.m. for Bishop Sid's final Sunday as our interim pastor. Please plan to stay after worship for cake and coffee as we officially thank Bishop Sid for being our interim pastor for eight of the past sixteen months.

Thank you, Pastor Brenda! This morning at worship we thanked Pastor Brenda for her ministry with us for eight of the past sixteen months. As part of the mornig, we participated in the Litany of Farewell officially recognizing the conclusion of Pastor Brenda's interim ministry at Our Savior's --and of course we also fellowshipped afterwards over cake and coffee 🙂.

Next Sunday, September 6, we will gather once again for thank yous and cake, but this time for Pastor Sid, as we thank him for the eight months of interim ministry that he provided to us over the last sixteen months. We really have been blessed with both Pastor Sid and Pastor Brenda!

And of course, all of these thank yous are leading up to Sunday, September 20th, when we welcome our new pastor, Pastor Victoria! Please mark your calendars and save the date for Pastor Victoria's installation which will happen on Sunday, October 18, at 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon at Our Savior's.
