The Alliance Canada has made an initial commitment of $10,000 to the first-responder efforts. Their initial response will focus on providing food, shelter, and hygiene supplies to the most vulnerable — particularly people with disabilities. While the need will be enormous for everyone affected, people with disabilities often face additional barriers and vulnerabilities during disasters; therefore, reaching and supporting them is a priority in emergency response.

Rev. Bob Keith interviewed Joel Hurst this morning (Aug. 23) at Circle Drive Alliance Church about the Hurst family's missions journey. Bob shares that there was learning about 'the waiting season’ and 'to listen, to surrender to obey.' He encourages everyone to check the church's YouTube channel to catch a special response to prayer time that was had "...about a five minute clip in the middle of the sermon"

Milden Alliance Church hosted a Biker Service on Sunday, August 9. Our Rev. Bob Keith and his wife Corinne attended. "We had a wonderful ride with a great bunch of people," Bob reports. A brisket lunch was served and approximately 23 bikes took to the roads around Milden.

Triple-header Ordination service at PAC Portage this morning! Congratulations: Jake Fretz, Chris Kehler and Lydia Stoesz!!! From the church: “[Lead Pastor/Rev.] Nathan anointed each with oil, and many members of our Board were there to pray over them as well.” Parishioners reached out during prayer for the new Reverends during prayer time as a show of support and blessing. -Y
