You are welcome to join us for a Passover Service on Friday, April 3 at 10:00am at The Hamlets in Gasoline Alley. We will be remembering how Jesus was the sacrificial lamb - the ultimate sacrifice for our sin.
You see, the Bible states that we have all sinned and that the consequence or wages of that sin is death because God is so holy that he cannot even look at sin. Romans 6:23 states "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord".
BUT Jesus came to reconcile us to God. He did that by paying that penalty for us through his death and resurrection. 1 Peter 1:18-21 says “For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.”
This season let us not forget this wonderful gift He has given us.
