❤️ LOVE WEEK OPPORTUNITY ❤️

Hey ladies of Kings Church!
As part of Love Week, we have a special opportunity to bless others in a big way! We’re collecting gas gift cards to support Radiation patients at the Saint John Regional Hospital who are traveling from all over NB for treatment — and your generosity can make a real difference in their journey. Many of these patients are travelling from hours away on a frequent basis at their own expense. We would love to help alleviate this burden for as many patients as possible!
If you're able to donate gas gift cards of any amount, please drop them off to the front desk at the Kings Church (Valley location) anytime this week and they will be distributed to patients in need. Thank you in advance for shining the light of Jesus and loving people in His name! ❤️

Hey Mamas! We have an exciting announcement: we’re taking Hey Mama (Valley location) on the road! Starting this coming Wednesday, September 10th at 10:00am, we’ll be going for a walk with our littles! It will be stroller friendly and all ages of children are welcome. The locations will be posted on our Hey Mama (Valley location) page several days prior. Sometimes we’ll be walking in the Valley and sometimes we’ll be walking in Saint John. For our first walk, we’ll be meeting in the Qplex parking lot next to the little covered bridge at 10:00. Hope to see you there!

Last but certainly not least in our lineup of speakers for Thrive: Ladies Wellness Morning, is Andrea Stoodley! She spoke last year at the event and we are so excited to have her join us again this year!!

Andrea is a Licensed Counselling therapist, who has been working in private practice for the last twelve years. She is a believer, a wife and mom to three teenagers. Andrea is passionate about helping people walk in wholeness.

Andrea will be sharing at the event on emotional development and healing. She will speak on how we can allow the Holy Spirit to guide us in acknowledging parts of us that have been affected by pain, and how to use curiosity, compassion and love to tend to these wounded parts for the Lord to bring further healing and wholeness.

This will be an insightful and meaningful conversation from someone who brings a rare blend of clinical expertise and spiritual insight to her work. We are so looking forward to hearing from Andrea again!

Hey ladies! We are so excited to announce that the next speaker for the Ladies Wellness event happening this coming Saturday, May 24th, is Dr. Chantal Samson!

Dr. Samson has been practicing as a family physician in Sussex, NB since 2019. South African born and raised, she qualified as a doctor there in 2007. She initially pursued a career in Paediatrics but then shifted focus to family medicine, leading her family to their faith journey to Canada in 2017. Born into Christianity, she matured into relationship with God through marriage, motherhood of two and being a daughter, sister, and aunt.

She will be joining us at this event to discuss the various developmental stages of womanhood and the remarkable women in the Bible, providing insights into essential health tips.

Hey ladies! We are so excited to announce a couple more speakers for next weekend’s Thrive Wellness morning coming up on May 24th! As an added bonus at this year’s event, we have two of our very own Kings Church ladies, Katie Peterson and Sarah Parsons, joining us to do a special parenting seminar!!

As busy moms, they are passionate about helping other moms thrive through every season of motherhood. Between the two of them, they have 11 children ranging from ages 4 to 17. While they don’t claim to be experts, they are moms who are eager to share the lessons God has taught them along the way—through both struggles and triumphs. Their hope is to offer encouragement and support as you continue your own journey, growing healthy, happy families who love Jesus.

Hey ladies!! We’re so excited to announce that one of the speakers sharing with us next weekend at Thrive, our Ladies Wellness morning, will be Tracie McGrath! Tracie works in the admin and support dept of Kings Church as the Assistant Pastor of Executive Operations.

Tracie will be sharing her journey of what it looks like to walk with God through hard seasons. She’ll be speaking from a place of weakness, offering an honest look at what it means to keep showing up in faith when life feels heavy. This talk will be a reminder that spiritual health isn’t about having it all together, but about leaning into simple practices that help us grow stronger in our walk with God.
