🎉 It’s Here! Coldest Night of the Year 2026! ❄️

Today we walk together to support our neighbours in Nanaimo and Oceanside. Grab your toque, bundle up, and join the fun - every step helps fund our Community Impact Fund, giving ICCS the flexibility to respond in real time to real needs.

There’s still time to sign up online or in person at the event, or support your favourite walker with a donation. Every step, every dollar, makes a real difference in someone’s life.

Our St. Stephen's Stompers Team for the Coldest Night of the Year walk is doing great but we could still use your help to reach our goal! All funds raised go to Island Crisis Care Society who help people facing hurt, hunger and homelessness right here in Oceanside.

So far, our team consists of walkers as young as 11 and as old as...(we'll never tell!!)

❄️ 25 days until Coldest Night of the Year ❄️

The countdown is on, and we need our community to rally. Nanaimo is currently at 33% of our fundraising goal, and together we can push that all the way to 100% before walk night.

Funds raised through Coldest Night of the Year support our Community Impact Fund, giving Island Crisis Care Society the flexibility to respond in real time to real people and their immediate needs. This is support that moves quickly, meets people where they are, and makes a real difference.
