Westwood Church Westwood Church is a community of people on a journey to discover Jesus, and be transformed by a personal relationship with him.

For fifty-five years, Westwood Church has been a core part of the Prince George community, and we have invited people to experience life change and make a positive difference in the world. Burgers + Hotdogs are on us.

Bring a Side or Dessert to share. (Please no nuts!)

We'll have buns (including gluten free) and veggie burgers available as well.

Westwood All In starts September 13.

Four Sundays. One invitation: come all in with us this fall.

Sept 13 // Vision Sunday
We're unveiling our new vision statement and casting a fresh vision for Westwood. Stick around after the service for a BBQ. Bring a Side or Dessert to share! (Just no nuts please!)

Sept 20 // Mission Sunday
We're introducing our new mission statement and the ways you can live it out: Alpha, Oasis, and the work God has put in front of Westwood.

Sept 27 // Next-Gen Sunday
Our youth band leads worship and Pastor Nolan brings the message. You'll hear from the leaders shaping the next generation at Westwood, including Pastor Emily and our kids ministry team.

Oct 4 // Launch Sunday
We return to two services, 9:00am and 10:45am. New rhythm, more room, more momentum.

Bring someone with you. Every one of these Sundays is a great opportunity to invite someone to come to Church with you.

Westwood Kids Ministry Team is ready to see you tonight at the Back to School Prayer & Ice Cream Night! Drop in as anytime between 6-7:30 pm at the South Entrance. Families can visit various prayer stations to pray together for the school year ahead.

In June we mentioned Rob Thiessen might join us one week each month. After prayerful consideration of our needs and resources, the elder board has decided not to move forward with that.

We're deeply grateful for Rob's nine months with us as transitional pastor, and we're committed to building on what he started. So next Sunday, August 30, plan to stay after the service. We're going to thank him together as a church family, with a special thank you and farewell during the service, as well as cake and mingling time after the service.

Please keep praying for the elder board as we seek God's direction for Westwood.

Back-to-school season is here. Drop in anytime between 6:00–7:30pm on Wednesday, September 2nd at Westwood Church (Youth Centre) to start the school year in prayer as a family.

We've set up interactive prayer stations you can move through together — designed to make praying as a family simple, fun, and a reminder that prayer makes a difference. We'll finish with an ice cream treat.

It's a drop-in, so come for 15 minutes or the full 90. We'd love the chance to get to know your family and pray over you heading into the fall semester.

We're excited to be running Alpha at Westwood starting this September.

If you're not familiar with it, Alpha is a relaxed, welcoming space to explore the Christian faith alongside others. Each session includes time to connect over food, a short talk, and open discussion where every question is welcome. No pressure, no expectations.

Alpha is designed especially for people who don't have a church background or who wouldn't call themselves a Christian. If that's you, we'd love to have you join us.

Alpha is also for people that may call Westwood their Home Church but still have questions about their Christian Faith.

If you're part of our church family, Alpha is a perfect opportunity to invite a friend, coworker, or neighbour who is curious about Jesus. You're welcome to attend right alongside them.

If you've never been to Westwood, we'd still love to have you join us for Alpha.
