Shareword Global PG Chapter - formerly Gideons PG Welcome to the Prince George, BC Chapter page of ShareWord Global, formerly The Gideons International in Canada. And the local church is important to us.

ShareWord Global is the new name for the former Gideons International In Canada. Despite the new name, we remain an interdenominational association of Christian men and women with the same commitment for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Evangelism and sharing God’s Word with effective and engaging forms of Scripture—reaching people everywhere with the Gospel through personal witness and partnership wit

h the local church. Our mission is to impact lives with the Gospel because the Gospel changes everything. If you’ve heard of our organization, you’ve probably heard something like this: “The Gideons—they’re the people who put Bibles in hotel rooms.” That’s absolutely right. But while you’re here, we hope to broaden your understanding of this global ministry. The Gideons International In Canada was founded in 1911. The name has changed to ShareWord Global, because we want to share God’s Word all around the world. In our own nation, we do that through our volunteer membership, church partners, and SendMe youth and young adults. We’re strategic to partner with like-minded ministries, in Canada and all our key regions around the globe. There’s an opportunity for everyone to be involved. We’re training, equipping, and mobilizing believers—gathering people together who share a passion to get God’s Word out, to change lives through the message of Jesus Christ.
