CR Campus Ministry - Northern BC

Christian Reformed Campus Ministry continues to serve the UNBC community in the 2025-2026 school year. This ministry aims to bring the message and ministry of Jesus Christ into the academic environment here in Northern BC. Through spiritual Care, free soup lunches, and conversation we hope that the campus will grow in peace, love, hope and knowledge. In order to do this work this organization continues to pay for a campus minister to be that voice on campus.
If you would like to see this work continue please consider supporting this work by partnering with us at this month's no-show gala. No need to dress up or give up a weekend. Donations can be made from the comfort of your home anytime until February 20.

And to all of you who are already connected to the CR Campus Ministry we hope you have had an opportunity to meet our Interim campus minister at UNBC this year, Lilia Nezhinsky. I know she would love to meet you.

Come out and join the worship and activities this Sunday at Lheidli T’enneh Park. Believers from a variety of Churches across Prince George will gather, united in our faith, to worship the God we put our hope in. Hope to see you there.

CR Campus Ministry is able to continue serving the UNBC community because of generous donors across BC. We work to build up a peaceful community who have hope and joy. We openly confess the good news of Jesus Christ while treating every person as the beautiful and precious creation they are.
We focus on what unites us. We serve weekly soup, we draw people conversation and are present to listen and pray.

Our supporters come from a very large area: most can be found across Northern BC - Terrace to Prince George - but others are in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island; some are even farther away. Since it would be very difficult to gather everyone together for an evening of food and entertainment we are opting to celebrate without anyone present!

So, kick off your shoes, jump into your comfy housecoat, curl up with your loved ones on your favourite couch or sit outside and watch the northern lights - and with all the money you save not buying a ticket, a fancy outfit, babysitter and parking - celebrate with us in spirit and donate to support the work done at UNBC.

Your donation will go directly to supporting the work done on campus, and none of it will go towards caterers, decorations or rentals for the non-event.

CR Campus Ministry has been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this new semester at UNBC. It is nice to see a busy campus again. I pray this new beginning is filled with Hope and Excitement for all of you: Students, Staff, Faculty, Researchers, and all who are part of this exciting learning community.

My name is Julie DeWeerd, I am a Chaplain at UNBC for the past year. My hope for this year is that the UNBC community will grow in faith, hope and love for God and for each other.
Wherever you are in your journey, whatever your perspective or your questions, I believe we are all united in our humanity. I would be eager to hear your story and support you as you wonder and seek truth, comfort, hope and purpose in this coming year.
