Hi Folks,
Sorry for the mix up about the funeral service for Crystal Gagnon.
I had it in my head that it was on June 6th at 1:30, and because I'm the pastor, that made it's way onto the bulletin/email etc.
It's actually at 2:00 pm on June 5th
I'll say it again so that I hear it properly
June 5th 2:00 pm at the church
Refreshments to follow
Please share this info to any who you think want to come to the service.
God be with you!

The church is invited to attend a memorial and prayer service for Charlie Kirk and his family at UNBC. Pastor Brad Bergen will be praying a pastoral prayer and Rev. Andrew Simpson from Heritage Presbyterian will be sharing a message. Please consider attending as we remember a Christian brother who did much to share the Gospel and forward the Christian worldview on topics like the family, abortion, and transgenderism

Hi folks,
Just wanted to let folks know to pray for the fellow who’s house is on fire at Ruby Lake. I went out to see how things were and if we could help and talked with him briefly, it’s going to be a hard couple of days Let’s also pray for those fighting the fire, and the RCMP members who are keeping the roads safe. As much as we can let’s pull together to love our neighbors as we love ourselves

Hello Lakes Community!
It's that time of year again where we look forward to the exchanging of gifts around the Christmas tree, but did you know the tradition of giving gifts was started to remember the gifts given by the wise men to Christ to celebrate his birth as the savour of the world and also tor remember how He is God's gift to the world?
This year more than recent years we have seen the need for food hampers increase in our community. Times are hard but we would love to give the gift of help and Christmas cheer to families in need in our community.
Please nominate a family in need through the form below or call Lakes Community Church at 250 967 4220 to nominate a family. If you are in need please reach out as well.
