Camp season is fast approaching and we are very excited to welcome many children and youth to camp this summer! Kids may be ready for camp but camp is not ready for kids!!
This Saturday (June 6) is our first official work day at camp! There is so much to be done to get camp ready. Below is a list of things needing to be done:
Clean the kitchen
Clean the bathrooms, suites, cabins, house and chapel
Clean up fallen trees and branches
Paint A frame cabins
Work being done at beach
Weedwacking around camp
Stump removal (if you have the tools and knowledge!)
There are other jobs needing to be done as well. We can find something that will suite your skills!
The kitchen clean up is a huge priority because we need to have the health inspector in as soon as possible.
If you can come out and help please do! We start at 10am and usually shut down by 4-5pm. But you can come anytime that suites you.
Because the kitchen is not clean yet, please bring your own lunch.
Let’s get a big crew out for our first work day and get as many things done as possible!
If you can’t make it out this Saturday please consider coming another day or another Saturday in June. If the weekends don’t work for you we can give you a list of jobs to do for another day.
Also, if someone has a trailer and is willing to haul things for camp please let me know. We are currently collecting all we can to make our laser tag course. We have people willing to donate totes, barrels and crates but need them collected and brought to camp. If you can help with this or have questions please call me or text (306) 594-7456
Our workdays are full and busy but they are also a great time of fellowship and encouragement! Come and be blessed as you serve and are a blessing to us!
Working together for the Kingdom of the Almighty,
Elaine Brewer
