A wonderful and beautiful day to you all. It's Mother's Day and I want to take the time out on the behalf of the Highway Pentecostal Church, we wish all Mother's a Happy Mother's Day.

The scripture for today is from Proverbs 31:31 which says, "Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates." Have a great day today mothers. We honour you all and may this day be a blessed one. I pray God's coverage on you all and may His peace rests on you all.

Due to technical difficulties in the area relating to internet from our provider, our stream today will be broadcast.

Thank you for your understanding and this is a call for real in person fellowship to be ignited in the hearts of people. We would love to have you in person which is much better than online. Fellowship is in person, internet is to reach people.

God bless and much love,

Pastor Kenton Tracey

Hello and goodday ladies and gentlemen.

So our program scheduled for tomorow relating to the autism brunch is cancelled until further notice. We have not been geting much RSVP, which would have given u an idea as to how much to prepare for, so we have decided to cancel.

However. The ladies of our church will be having their regular meeting tomorrow at the regular time, 2 pm to fellowship, pray and still have a small reflection over snacks and tea. You are still welcomed who were planning on coming.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hello and Goodday people of God.

The word today comes to us from 1 Corinthians 10:31, which says, "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." The simple word for you today and for everyday living is that we as believers should be motivated to bring glory to God in everything we do, or choose not to do. This includes our choices to eat or drink, or to refuse. Paul adds this to a list of motivating factors for the use of our freedom in Christ. Will this activity be helpful to me or will it cause me to be "mastered" (1 Corinthians 6:12)? Will doing this build up others and be good for my neighbor as well as for myself (1 Corinthians 10:23–24)?

In all cases, the question of whether this activity will bring me pleasure, material gain, or status should not be the deciding factor alone even for those who are free in Christ. Just as anything done without conviction is sin (Romans 14:23), Christians should not participate in anything they don't feel brings glory to God.

have a blessed day.

hello and goodday wonderful people of God.

In keeping with this week of the Passover/Easter, I wanna share from the Word of God on the Love of God.

John 15:13 states, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." Spoken by Jesus during his final discourse, this verse defines the highest form of love as self-sacrificial, directly foreshadowing his own death for humanity. It calls for selfless, unconditional love in action.

It defines the ultimate, sacrificial agape love—a selfless commitment prioritizing others' well-being over oneself. Jesus calls his followers "friends" rather than servants, implying a close relationship based on obedience to his commands to love one another. In the prior verse, Jesus gave a command which is repeated several times in this conversation: to love each other (John 13:34; 15:12, 17). In this same discourse, Jesus identified obedience to His commands as a sign of true belief (John 14:15).

Jesus' comments about following His commands, loving others, being humble, and so forth mean that "laying down one's life" is an attitude, as well as an action. When Jesus washed the feet of the disciples, He did something profoundly humble (John 13:3–5). Christian love is not meant to be "saved up" and exhibited only in grand gestures. Truly loving others, by "laying down" one's life, means "abiding" in the love of Christ (John 15:8–11), in a consistent, moment-by-moment approach.

let us seek to love without measure, which is the true reflection of real love. Have a blessed day
