A response to Port Hope mayoral candidate Angela Grogan from Reverend Kevin Moore:

Dear Angela,

Thank you for your letter re: my video endorsement of Mayor Olena Hankivsky posted on September 21.

Your concern is valid. In the video I identify myself as the minister of Port Hope United Church. This was an error in judgment on my part and I wish to apologize for this.

I have asked for the video to be removed and have been assured that this has already happened.

This response will also be posted on our church page.

I am quite willing to meet you in person at your convenience if you wish to speak further about this.

I wish you well on your campaign as I wish all candidates well. It takes courage to put your name forward for public office and we are better for it.

Yours sincerely,

Reverend Kevin Moore
