GOOD AFTERNOON CHURCH FAMILY!!!

We need you all to be praying about a couple of gaps in our ministry here at the church.

The Bible says…”Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Making disciples, & teaching them about Jesus is what the church is looking for from you right now.

Garage sale & silent auction fundraiser for the upcoming ladies retreat.

Dear church family,
In order to offset some of the cost for the ladies retreat September 25-27, Gina and I are planning a garage sale and silent auction fundraiser for August 29 starting at 1pm. The silent auction will close at 4pm.

If you have items you would like to donate for this fundraiser, we will collect them in the gym of the church. If you have specific items that would be good for the auction, please clearly the item and a suggested minimum bid if you wish. The silent auction items will hopefully include fancy cakes/desserts.

We will also be having a bake sale and welcome baking you would like to donate.

If you would like to just make a donation, please make any cheques payable to FBC Ponoka with a separate note indicating that it’s for the ladies retreat. If you want to use the debit machine in the foyer, please put your debit receipt in a donation envelope and indicate that it’s for the ladies retreat.

If you have any questions or need help getting items to the church for the garage sale, please contact Gina or myself (Shannon).

Lastly, if you would like to help us set up on Friday afternoon and/or help us on Saturday, please chat with one of us.

We are now collecting food for the Ponoka Food Bank here at the church. The area designated for this is where the old elevator use to be.

There is a list of items that are “most needed” posted. So, please help out and bring in your dry and canned goods for our local food bank.

Thank you and Lord bless
