St. Columba Concerts presents: The Evolution of the Trumpet from Purcell to Miles Davis

Majestic, lyrical and swinging – the trumpet has it all! Come discover the multiple personalities of the trumpet in the talented hands of Pierre Bélisle with the exceptional pianist Valérie Dallaire on Saturday, March 21 at 7:30 pm. Your musical journey begins in 17th century England then moves through time to Austria, Germany, Spain and ends with American jazz. It will be a whirlwind tour with the king of brass!
