“Porch to Pantry” Food Drive (Nov 23)

West Island Mission is holding its annual Pointe-Claire city-wide “Porch to Pantry” Food Drive on Sunday, November 23.

- Residents are asked to place non-perishable food donations on their front porch before 9 a.m.
- Label your bags “Porch to Pantry.”
- Volunteer drivers will be collecting donations door-to-door throughout the morning.
- West Island Mission is now serving close to 500 families—demand is up and donations are down.
- The community’s support is urgently needed to help restock the shelves.

“We’re coming to you—let’s make it easier than ever to donate.”

A New Chapter Begins at Lakeside Heights Baptist Church!

Sunday, August 3rd 2025 marked a historic and joyful day for our church family as we officially welcomed Pastor Johnny Lau in his first service with celebration.

With hearts full of gratitude and expectation, we gathered to witness God’s faithfulness and to affirm Pastor Johnny’s calling to shepherd our congregation. The theme of the day, “Anchored in Christ, Active in Mission”, reminds us that as a church, we are rooted in the unshakable hope of Jesus—and called to go forth boldly in His mission.

Welcome, Pastor Johnny! May your ministry be fruitful, Spirit-led, and filled with grace.
