About the band⬇

Three Chords & The Truth is a country/bluegrass style of gospel music group with members hailing from the towns and villages of Napanee, Tamworth and Marlbank. They have played for several years at many churches, Christian camps and outdoor events along and north of the Belleville to Kingston corridor. Their goal is to encourage & challenge fellow believers in their faith as well as to entice unbelievers to consider the claims of Christ through song.

About Andrew⬇

For more than two decades, Andrew Thompson has devoted himself to serving the local church as a worship leader. He has worked primarily with WellSpring Community Church in Welland, ON, but has also led worship for Impactus (formerly Promise Keepers Canada) and numerous other community events. Music and singing have played a pivotal role in Andrew's life and relationship with God, and he uses this passion to inspire others to draw closer to God through heartfelt worship. Andrew considers it a profound honour to witness people connecting with God right before his eyes.

Andrew and his wife, Anita, have been happily married for over 30 years and are proud parents of three adult children—Noah and his wife, Michelle; Hannah; and Ella and her husband, Elijah.

About Mark⬇

Mark currently serves part-time as the Advancement Director at Camp Iawah. In addition to his work at Iawah, he enjoys teaching and is involved in therapeutic work, serving alongside his wife in their private practice.

Mark and his wife served in pastoral ministry for 38 years, including seven years at an international church in Jakarta, Indonesia—an experience that was life-shaping and deepened their appreciation for the global work God is doing. They now live north of Kingston and have three children: two residing in Ontario and a daughter who is married and living in England.

Dear Wesley Acres Family,

What an incredible response!

When we launched our $26,000 Giving Challenge Match, we hoped it would inspire our Wesley Acres family to rally together. What happened went far beyond that.

You gave $53,627!

Because of your generosity, we not only met the full $26,000 matching challenge, but more than doubled the amount needed to unlock the match. What an amazing expression of belief in the ministry of Wesley Acres!

With the matching funds included, $240,264 has now been raised since January 1st toward our overall ministry goal of $378,000 for 2026.

Behind every dollar is a person who believes that what happens at Wesley Acres matters. It represents children and youth hearing the Gospel, families growing together, people finding community, and individuals having space to step away from the busyness of life and draw closer to God.

This summer, we have seen that ministry come to life in so many ways. And your generosity is helping make it possible.

While we have much to celebrate, we still need to receive a further $137,736 by December 31st, 2026.

We don't want to lose the momentum we have built. We want to finish strong.

So, we are asking you to continue to pray, continue to share the vision of Wesley Acres with others, and, if you are able, consider how you may be able to help.

🎶 Join us this Sunday for an evening of inspiring music with Mission Hill Quartet!

This special concert is being offered by donation to the ministry of Wesley Acres. We also invite attendees to bring non-perishable food items to help support our local food banks.

Donation bins are available all week in both the Office and this weekend in the Chapel (dmc), making it easy to drop off items before the concert. As the summer season comes to a close, it's a great opportunity to clear out your pantry while helping local families in need.

🎾Registration fees will go directly toward Harbour Ridge, and additional donations are encouraged.

⚡Bring your favourite glow sticks, necklaces, bracelets, and other glow gear to light up the courts while enjoying some friendly competition. All skill levels are welcome!
