Jesus' words sound clear: love your enemies. Then come the questions.

What if someone threatens your family? What about war? The military? Self-defense? Does choosing nonviolence mean standing by while someone gets hurt?

These aren't “gotcha” questions. They're the kinds of questions many of us genuinely wrestle with when Jesus' teachings collide with situations that don't feel simple.

This October, we're making room to explore them. Join author Jon Sherwood for three conversations about violence, enemy-love, nonviolence, and what following Jesus might actually ask of us.

Our hearts go out to our Jewish friends in Belleville after the horrific events of last night outside their Sons of Jacob Synagogue.

Praying for all who were traumatized as well as the Belleville Police Officer who was shot and the many First Responders.

Here’s just a sampling of the 20 wonderful Vendors who will be at this, our 4th year hosting this fun event:

~ Peggy DeWitt with her great cards and prints
~ Mary Brett with her beautiful watercolour artwork and silk scarves
~ Friends of Sandbanks will have Sandbanks-branded clothing and souvenirs
~ Katherine Kemp with her beautiful floral arrangements, herbs and garden decor will be back this year
~ You’ll find lots of home and garden decor from Karen Marquardt of Backwoods Design Co
~ Sam Visser will be showcasing his beautiful custom cedar planters and garden beds
~ There will be a fabulous variety of handmade organic vegan soaps, candles, cosmetics, skincare and bathbombs from Vendors Melody of Melody’s Garden and also Karlene Lew.
~ This year, we have 2 Food Vendors - Jennifer Koebel of JD Farms serving up breakfast sandwiches, walking tacos, grilled cheese, hamburgers and refreshments
~ and for your sweet tooth, Northern Lights Snacks will have gourmet popcorn, cotton candy, also hotdogs and refreshments. These are just a few of our great Vendors this year. Come check out our little Market that grew!!
