There's nothing quite like a day spent growing alongside your church family and sisters in Christ. So grateful we got to be at the 'Overflowing: Live Sent' conference last month!

Huge thank you to .ca, to every organizer and volunteer who made this event happen seamlessly. Your faithful service blessed us all.

'Live Sent' reminded us that faith isn't just what we believe, it's how we live every single day. When people see Christ reflected in our actions and our boldness, that's when they become curious about what we believe. How will you live your faith out loud this week? We'd love to have you join us at Fellowship Pickering as we grow together in the love of Jesus Christ.

Who shows up for you when you have nothing left?
In Matthew 15:29–39, Jesus meets people in the wilderness, hungry, tired, and in need. He doesn’t ignore them. He provides abundantly.

This shows us who He is.

Jesus sees.
Jesus cares.
Jesus provides.

His compassion isn’t limited. It reaches further than we expect and satisfies deeper than we imagine.

Trust His compassion.
Rely on His provision.
Receive His mercy and let it overflow to others.

Can anything in this world truly satisfy you?
In Matthew 14:14–21, we see Jesus as the compassionate King who meets real needs. He doesn’t turn people away..He feeds, cares, and provides.

But this points to something deeper.

We can have everything and still feel hungry inside.
Only Jesus truly satisfies.

He is the Shepherd-King who sees you, cares for you, and invites you to come to Him.

What if hope isn’t something you earn but something you receive?

You don’t need to fix yourself before coming to God.
Just come as you are.

“Whoever comes to me I will never cast out.” — John 6:37

No matter your past or doubts, He will not turn you away.
Come to Him. Even with a simple prayer: “Lord, help me.”

Who really has the final authority over your life?

When Christ confronts earthly power, resistance often follows. Yet the message of Scripture is clear: Jesus alone reigns.

The Bible gives both a warning and an invitation:
“Kiss the Son… Blessed are all who take refuge in Him.” — Psalm 2:12

Turn to Christ. Take refuge in Him.

What happens when we see Jesus clearly but still refuse to trust Him?

In Matthew 13:53–58, the people who knew Jesus best still rejected Him. They saw His wisdom, witnessed His power, and yet refused to believe.

Rejecting Christ is ultimately rejecting grace.
Only repentance receives mercy.

Familiarity with Jesus is not the same as faith in Him. The question is not whether we have heard of Him, but whether we truly trust Him.
