Pickering Standard Church The Wesleyan Church in Pickering
Located at 3595 Mowbray St (Old Brock Rd. & Hwy 7 in the village of Brougham)
Worship 10:30 a.m. Sunday!

Pickering Standard Church is a welcoming community that seeks to know and follow God. Our example for living comes from Jesus and his directive, “’…'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'” Matthew 22:37-39 (NIV)

At Pickering Standard relationships are important, first with God and then with our neighbours. In our church and in our community each person is cared for and valued. We meet together so that we can walk together.

We all face situations that are bigger than we are.
God invites us to bring those situations to Him, trusting that in His infinite power, He can handle it, in His infinite love, He will handle it, and in His infinite wisdom, He will handle it in the way that is best.

Rev. Wilbert Bertrim, the founding pastor of the Pickering Standard Church, went home to be with the Lord today. Rev. Bertrim faithfully served PSC for a number of years. He was a great pastor, example and friend. He will be missed by all but his influence and legacy will never be forgotten.
