Holy Redeemer Parish in Pickering joyfully welcomed His Eminence Frank Cardinal Leo on April 26 as part of the parish’s 60th anniversary celebrations. Cardinal Leo celebrated Mass with the faithful, bringing together clergy, parishioners, and distinguished guests including Juanita Nathan, Member of Parliament for Pickering–Brooklin, Pickering Mayor Kevin Ashe and Gerard Winn, Director of Education for the Durham Catholic District School Board. Following the liturgy, the community gathered in the parish hall for a reception marked by fellowship and gratitude.

We are truly blessed to welcome His Eminence Cardinal Leo, Archbishop of Toronto, as we celebrate 60 years of Holy Redeemer Parish!

Join us on Sunday, April 26th for this joyful and historic occasion at the 11:00 AM Mass, followed by a reception in the parish hall. Together, we will give thanks for six decades of faith, community, and God’s abundant blessings.

A special highlight of the celebration will be the blessing of our new Holy Redeemer statue, created by renowned artist Timothy Schmalz, a meaningful sign of our parish’s devotion and continued spiritual journey.

All are warmly invited to be part of this milestone celebration. Come celebrate our past, rejoice in our present, and look forward with hope to the future!
