St.John's Lutheran Church was founded in 1867 and is the oldest church in the Petawawa area! We also have many eve
nts and welcome you to enjoy them with us. Our Ladies Group, Seniors and Friends, Visitor's Committee, and Stewardship Committee plan events regularly. Sunday school, confirmation classes, adult study and choir are also opportunities for involvement. Our motto is “Reaching up to Christ and Out to Others.” This congregation is a worshipping, learning, witnessing, and serving community of baptized persons, among whom the Word is proclaimed and the Sacraments are administered according to the Gospel, and whose corporate existence is recognized by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada. It shall provide support to enable the fulfillment of the mission and ministry of this Church.
