Livestreamed from Camp Kinasao at Christopher Lake, Saskatchewan, the service will be led by National Bishop Larry Kochendorfer alongside youth from the Saskatchewan Synod.

Our National Bishop Larry Kochendorfer hosted guests for the fourth Conversations Across the Church event in mid-September.
Dr. Mary Philip (Joy), Rev. Tim Wray, Eva Wray, and Korpo Sailly shared about the Season of Creation and why prayer and action for God’s creation are an important priority for the ELCIC.
If you've missed it, you can still watch the recording of that gathering by clicking this link!

Today, we had again a full house at the Forget-Me-Not Cafe!
Thank you to Holly for the chair dance, Chris for preparing "memory boxes" as craft, Elda and her team for preparing lunch and taking these photos, Bob for the sing-along, and for all who helped with registration, serving, set-up, clean-up! Big Thank-You to our sponsors who support us financially!
Today was the 2nd birthday for the cafe, and we celebrated with our guests. So much fun! We love the stories that were shared, meeting your loving partners, siblings, family members, or care takers!
Our next event is on October 26, so please register!

Thank you to our National Bishop for publishing this prayer for anxious times!

In a difficult week marked by violence, threats and acts of hate, we turn to prayer.

We pray for peace, hold one another in care and recommit ourselves to communities where all people are welcomed and safe.

A prayer for anxious times from ELCIC National Bishop Larry Kochendorfer.

We join the ELCIC and ELCJHL in praying for Natalie, her family and the church, and continue to call for her immediate release.

Many of you have been following the case of Natalie Abudayyeh, the ELCJHL youth and Birzeit University student who was abducted and detained by Israeli forces in June. Natalie appeared in court today, but unfortunately the decision regarding her release was once again postponed to the 20th of October. We are incredibly frustrated and distressed that Natalie will spend another month in prison, and we pray without ceasing for her safety and freedom.

Please keep Natalie, her family, and the church in your prayers, and please continue to raise your voices to your church networks and elected officials to advocate for Natalie's immediate release. We will share more updates as we have them.
