Before the day becomes loud, pause and notice the quiet gifts already surrounding you: the warmth of a cup, the light through the window, the breath in your lungs.

Father, give me a thankful heart. Open my eyes to Your goodness in ordinary moments and teach me to remember Your faithfulness, especially when life feels difficult. Free me from grumbling, comparison, and discontent. Help me receive what You have already given with open, grateful hands. Let praise rise naturally from a heart that knows You are good, even in hard seasons. Lord, draw me nearer through gratitude.

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” : Psalm 100:4

Take one slow breath. Name three small gifts from today, and thank God for each one.

What is one small gift from God you are thankful for today?

As the page turns and the room grows still, bring the small decisions to the Father.

Father, I confess how quickly I lean on my own certainty. When I do not know what to choose, quiet my anxious thoughts and teach me to receive wisdom from You. Lord, make me willing to pause, listen, and obey: not to control every outcome, but to trust Your faithful care in the next step.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” : James 1:5

Today, before one ordinary decision, take a quiet breath and ask God for wisdom; then move forward without forcing an answer.

What decision are you placing before the Lord today?

Let the evening grow quiet around you. Notice the warmth of your cup, the gentle rhythm of your breathing, and the words still resting in your heart.

Father, I confess how quickly I want to explain myself, defend my intentions, or answer before I have truly heard. Lord, soften my reactions. Teach me to listen without preparing a rebuttal, to speak without trying to win, and to respond with gentleness when conversations become difficult. Let Your wisdom shape not only my words, but the posture of my heart.

“Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.” : James 1:19

Before your next difficult conversation, pause for one breath. Ask yourself: Am I listening to understand, or only waiting to be heard? Then choose one gentle sentence instead of the first defensive one.

What helps you slow down and listen before responding?

THANK YOU!

You have amazed us with your kindness and generosity.

134 Children get to go to school this 2026/2027 year because of YOU! 🤗

• 47 children from The Father's House,
• 30 children from ghettos and rural villages,
• 45 children from a community of blind parents,
• 11 children from a pastor and his wife who have opened up their home, and our sweet Odell whose widowed mother passed away a couple months ago (we had been helping her since the start of this ministry).

In Liberia, parents at this time of year are often overwhelmed at the task to come up with the funds to send their children to school. We're so grateful to you that together we were able to relieve that stress from them and provide their tuition and school fees. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much! It's bringing so much hope to their futures! Please pray for them as they start back to school.

TRAVEL TIME

Tomorrow morning we leave for the Dominican Republic for a week of ministry. Please keep us in your prayers. We'll be visiting projects, ministering to people and pastors, and speaking in churches.
