We will be holding our worship service outdoors on the lawn beside the church. Our music will be led by The Biggs Sisters… Brenda, Dawna, & Trish, along with Ralph Verch & Bernadette Kelly. Please bring a lawn chair and hat. A tent will also provide shade.

Our church celebrated three momentous occasions today. Reverend David Hooper and his wife Debra commemorated 25 years of marriage with a vow renewal ceremony. The Reverend Dr. Patricia VanGelder rededicated their marriage vows
We also celebrated that Reverend Dr. Patricia VanGelder was bestowed an Honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Presbyterian College on May 14, 2026, for her devotion to the church and the Lord.
We also marked the 90th birthday of Mary Wallace.
It was a truly glorious day.

HOLY WEEK SERVICES
Thursday, April 2nd – Maundy Thursday- 7:00 pm -We will celebrate Maundy Thursday by literally coming to the Passover table and receiving Holy Communion. An explanation of the Passover meal will be given. Following that we will celebrate the Tenebrae or Service of the Shadows. Scriptures will be read, and during this part of the service candles and lights will be extinguished until we leave the sanctuary in silence and darkness. Come and join us for this memorable Worship experience.
Friday, April 3rd -Good Friday -10:00 am -This is the most somber day in the Christian year. We observe the crucifixion of Jesus. During the service you will be given the opportunity to place your name in a basket at the foot of the cross. This is in recognition that Jesus died for your sins and has set you free from eternal death.
Easter Sunday, April 5th -10:00 am -Join us as we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Let us rejoice that death could not hold him. He is Risen!
Sunday, April 12th -10:00 am -Debra and I will be on vacation from April 6 to 13. Padre Seaton Brachmayer will lead worship on April 12th.
May the Lord bless us with continuous faith.
