What We Learned This Week

Jacob’s Dream (Genesis 27–28)
Brite Idea: God never changes.

God made the same promise to Abraham’s son Isaac that he made to Abraham. Isaac and Rebekah had twin sons, Esau and Jacob. Isaac intended to bless Esau, but Jacob deceived him and received the blessing instead. Esau was angry, so Jacob fled. On his journey, Jacob dreamed of a ladder reaching heaven and heard God reaffirm the covenant. Despite Jacob’s deceit, God revealed His plan and faithfulness through His promises.

God kept His covenant to bless the nations through Abraham’s family. God had a plan for Jacob even when it seemed his mistakes would mess things up. God’s promise carried on for many generations until one day, the greatest gift of all would come through the family of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—our Savior, Jesus.

Monthly Memory Verse: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)

We are looking for kitchen help at Bonnechere Baptist Camp again for this coming week! Naomi is the head cook for the week and she's hoping to have a lot of fun while serving.

We couldn't have asked for a more a beautiful day to move church to Bonnechere Baptist Camp!

SOOO thankful that the rain in Pembroke didn't keep everyone home!!!

Join us for a camp cleanup at Bonnechere Baptist Camp tomorrow (Friday) between 9 AM - 4 PM.

Pack up your family and a picnic lunch then come check out the camp and help get it ready for summer! It is a perfect way to spend a PD day for those who get it off!!!

Please bring your own rakes and pitchforks or shovels. You may also want gloves to prevent blisters.

It’s a definitely bonus if you have a truck and/or trailer for loading and unloading the pine needles. The raked piles will need to be loaded up and moved to the back of the property.

Washrooms should be open. You will want to bring sunscreen/bug spray and lots of water.

See you then!

Happy Mother’s Day! We are so blessed with the mom’s of all ages and stages that are represented in our church family! Thank you for sharing Jesus with your families!

Today, the kids handed out white carnations to their moms. Do you know the history of Mother’s Day and that they are the official flower?
