Christmas is coming!
Our Christmas Eve services, both Holy Communion with Carols, are at 7:00 and 10:00 p.m. There will be a children's procession to the manger at the first service.
Our Christmas Day service is at 10:30 a.m., again Holy Communion with Carols.
All of God's children are invited to share this meal of grace.

Both the 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 a.m. services will be recorded and posted to our website, 'Our Saviour's Lutheran Church of Thunder Bay'.

The Advent/Christmas banners and the hymn board were made possible by the gift of the freewill offerings at our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper. Beautiful! The Communion trays, Altar Book, and altar cross are also gifts from Our Saviour's (originally from St. Mark's and Immanuel) to Pass Lake, for as long as they are needed.

Merry Christmas to all our siblings in Christ in Pass Lake, Thunder Bay, Fort Frances, and Bergland, and to all around the world.

On this third Sunday of Advent, which the Church calls “Gaudete Sunday,” meaning rejoice or praise, we light the third candle and rejoice like the shepherds. For this reason, the third candle of Advent is called the "Shepherd's Candle," and its colour is pink, the liturgical colour for joy.

The Salem Herald is available on the counter at Pass Lake Campground Store and at Salem Church entryway.
