This Tuesday will be the fourth of our four neighbourhood walks, at 6:00 PM. Come on out, and bring along an animal companion if you have one!

Then at 6:30 PM you're welcome to head inside for a short liturgy to commemorate the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi (transferred from Sunday).

All of this culminates in our second annual Blessing of the Animals service on Saturday at 10:30 AM; we'll meet outside the main doors (or inside, if raining).

This Tuesday night our dog (and human) walking group begins, at 6:00 PM. Come on out; let's make some new friends and meet some neighbours!

Then at 6:30, following the walk, we have a short evening prayer service, with some readings, prayers, and hymns.

Come on out to one or both parts of the evening.

Over the last few years many church traditions have had a special focus on the environment from September 1 to October 4 (culminating in the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi).

Here at St. James' we're going to try something new this year: a dog walking group on Tuesdays at 6:00 PM, followed by a short service at 6:30 PM (come to one or both parts).

Even if you don't have a dog, or you want to bring along some other type of animal friend, you're welcome; it'll be a good way to meet some neighbours, and enjoy some time outdoors and lively conversation.

This begins September 15th, meeting outside the main church doors for 6:00 PM.

We'll also be having a blessing of animals on Saturday, October 10 at 10:30 AM.
