Summer Kids Camps Are Coming!

We’re excited to be hosting 6 awesome weeks of Summer Kids Camps in partnership with Sojourn Church! Each week will be packed with fun, games, creative activities, friendships, and meaningful moments that help kids grow in confidence and faith.

Our annual Church in the Park service always draws a big crowd but the beautiful thing is, there's always room for more!!

Here's the plan:
Lions Park in Paris, at 10:30am on Sunday, June 7th. We’ll gather outdoors for a relaxed morning together for worship, with a BBQ following. Burgers and hot dogs will be provided. Please bring your own lawn chairs, drinks, plates, cutlery, and any extra food you’d like to enjoy.

This is a great Sunday to invite someone to come with you. It’s casual, welcoming, and an easy way for friends, neighbours, and family to experience community and connection together. We hope you’ll join us — and bring someone along!

We all work. No matter how old or young, we work. Yes it may look different and some work gets paid, but we all work. The question then becomes: Has work become the essence of your identity? If it has, the danger is that we will be disappointed because eventually everything we do and have accomplished to make a name for ourselves will be forgotten. Sound depressing? Well, there is an alternative that can bring joy and hope. It is found in finding an alternative perspective. Join us this week as we look to Ecclesisates to give us a new and fulfilling purpose when it comes to work.

We are relieved to report that no fun or foolishness was observed at the recent Almost Summer Camp kickoff event for our junior youth. It was a serious and sombre affair. Entirely appropriate. Absolutely no hijinks or shenanigans occurred. Phew!!!
