Shri Dhanvantri Bhagavan is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He is mentioned in the Puranas as the god of Ayurveda. He, during the Samudra-Manthan, arose from the Ocean of Milk with the nectar of immortality. It is auspicious to conduct Lord Dhanvantri's Pooja in these times of uncertainty and distress.

Dear Devotees,

This is the time of the year that we request our devotees to sign for Sunday hosting for the upcoming year. But first, allow us to express our gratitude to you and also to share the pride that we feel as your Board of Directors.

It is remarkable that in 2019, the Prasad for all Sundays (except only for two) was offered by devotees’ families.

As many of you know, Prasad served every Sunday after the Arati has been an integral part of our Temple for the last 34 years, which upholds a unique tradition and is very popular among devotees.

Food from various regions of India and other countries is served with great devotion that truly reflects the richness and varieties of the food that our community is endowed with. This Prasad arrangement has also provided us with the opportunity to socialize and exchange our experiences while sharing foods. We feel proud of this tradition.

This program has been successful only because of your continuous and unwavering support of Sunday-hosting. We are sincerely thankful to you for your support. And we would like to maintain this practice of sharing Prasad.

To manage it better so that no families is deprived of getting the hosting date they would like and no Sundays remain without a host, we request you to sign up for Sunday hosting at your earliest convenience. We require just 52 volunteer families (either sole or in groups) from different regions to continue the tradition. The hosting can be on any occasion such as birthday, anniversary or regional festival. Prasad should be very simple and of course, we know, it will be authentic. Please call the Temple for further information.

Thank you!
