IGNITING HOPE | RESTORING FREEDOM

10/11/2026

Annual UCC Family Thanksgiving tradition continues! We had a bountiful lunch after the service today with family and guests. Thankful for all of you!

09/23/2026

From the first days of Union City Church we have hosted a Thanksgiving meal. To eat, fellowship and share gratitude for God's blessings and each other.

Many in our church won't have a Thanksgiving meal other than this one.

We dont typically host fully potluck meals at UCC. The main substance of the meal needs to be provided by our core team.

This year, we could use a little help from our extended community.
..physical help (can you cook a turkey?!) ..financial help (can you provide a turkey?!)

Can you help?

And while we are asking for help... we also need Bibles, new or used!

Today!! Here's the plan!

Derrick and Pastor Jon and those that may or may not need an umbrella will go to Mooneys Bay beach for 10am. Baptize and head back to the church.

At the church Derrick will share a bit of testimony, we'll sing, pray and take communion.

Then we'll eat early lunch together at the church!

Be a witness.

When Jesus raised Lazarus, Lazarus didn’t preach a sermon, write a book, or defend a theology.
He simply lived as evidence of what Jesus had done.
His life became the testimony.
His presence became the proof.
His story made people ask questions.
That’s what a witness is.
Not perfect.
Not polished.
Just alive in places where you once were dead.
If Christ has brought you out of addiction, despair, fear, or the grave of your past—
then your changed life is the loudest message you’ll ever preach.
You are walking evidence of resurrection power.
So live in the light.
Tell the story.
Stay close to Jesus.
Be a witness. ✝️
