So honoured to have attended the wonderful Syro-Malabar wedding and joyful reception of my good friend Arpit George and his beautiful bride Navya last Saturday! May God bless this young couple with many loving, joyful, and peaceful years together and may their selfless, total, faithful, and fruitful love for each other be an example of God’s love to all those they encounter. 🙏🏽

This past weekend, I did a Trappist beer presentation, tasting and pairing hosted at Our Lady Seat of Wisdom College for 36 students and their dean in Barry’s Bay, ON for the fourth year in a row! We tasted 12 different beers from 4 Trappist monasteries: La Trappe, Westmalle, Rochefort and Chimay. The beer was paired with fancy cheeses, different types of Lindor chocolate, berries, nuts, figs and Belgian bread. It was quite well received! The students enjoyed themselves and learned about the history of the Trappists and monastic brewing, the characteristics of Trappist and Abbey beer, the International Trappist Association and the history of the four monasteries/breweries with a picture slideshow.
